One of the big names in Singapore serving tonkatsu. There's always a queue in their outlets so be prepared to wait for at least 10-15 minutes before being seated. Tried their special pork Shirakaba Rosu Katsu with brown rice and Japanese beer and wasn't disappointed. Would return.

A place of nostalgia? The establishment seems to have been there forever, and is a beaming icon of great Tonkatsu. We took one of the normal tonkatsu and one that was layered (both were fantastic). The accompanying sauces were of course essentials in elevating the gastronomical experience, but the sesame seeds crusher seems a little too hard to operate for us. 🤣 all in all a perfect place for your tonkatsu fix

Food is top-notch - the pork tender and crust crispy and fragrant. It is everything a tonkatsu should be and always hits the spot. Side dishes are lovely too, including miso soup with a deep and complex umami with surprising variety of ingredients. Get the curry too, it goes very well with the rice - you’ll thank me for it. Service is always professional and competent. I’m impressed with the queue management and the upbeat and friendly energy that the servers all have. It is testament to the good staff culture and excellent training they receive. I always come here when I want to give myself a treat!

One of the best Tonkatsu I have ever eaten. If there is anything I have to add, it would be the handling of the oil when drying after the fry, as now the bottom part is still a bit soggy. Drying it vertically on the tip end would probably make it better!

Four of us came here about 11.45am without reservations and we got a table. During lunch time later, the place was full. I order their limited dish which the server recommended, Aji buta rogu katsu. Thé breaded fried pork was good. I like the tonjiru soup.

I went there during public holiday at 530pm already got a short queue. Luckily didn't wait much. The set meal didn't disappoint me and felt satisfying after eating. I kept thinking of their tonkatsu lately after the last one at Jewel 😅. Good value and well done to the crew! Their brown rice is good as well!

Always here precovid. This is the first time back after covid reopening. One of the best tonkatsu shop in Singapore. Delicious and well portioned with good service. Good and prompt service. Everything is good.

I was looking for a place to catch a late dinner (9.10pm) after running errands and came by the restaurant. I was worried that it would be too late, but the restaurant accepted my walk-in request and took good care of me. I enjoyed the food recommendation (I had the limited special - Aji Buta Rogu Katsu), and especially the service. Such a pleasant way to end my evening. Special shout-out to Bryan for his wonderful service 👍🏻
